1. Potato Protein
   
   Potato protein is used globally as an additive for a range of food applications, including animal feed, dairy products, seafood, processed meat, sauces, beverages and snacks. While potatoes have traditionally not been a main source of protein (protein constitutes only about 2.8% of a potato), potato protein, especially in its usage as an additive for animal feed has become increasingly popular with the advent of animal diseases such as the Mad-cow disease.
   
   With appropriate technology in place, China Essence is able to extract potato protein from its existing stable of potatoes that starch is extracted from. China Essence intends to target the animal feed market and will sell its protein to animal feed manufacturers, starting in the PRC.
   
   
   
   
2. Potato Fibre
   
   After extracting protein and starch, potato remains (potato fibre) can be further processed and packaged as a high-grade animal feed.
